BATANGHARINEWS.COM, MUARABULIAN - Amukan masa yang melakukan perusakan Polsek Batin XXIV kabupaten Batanghari, pasca meninggalnya ketua DPC partai PPP Gun Harapan beberapa waktu lalu, telah ditetapkan ada 17 tersangka oleh Polres Batanghari.
"Usai pemeriksaan 38 saksi oleh polisi, ditetapkan 17 orang tersangka perusakan Polsek Batin XXIV," kata Kapolres Batanghari AKBP Moh Santoso didampingi Wakapolres Kompol Soekamto dan Kasat Reskrim AKP Dhadhag Anindito, dalam gelaran konferensi pers, Jumat (28/6) di Mapolres Batanghari.
Kapolres membeberkan, dari 17 tersangka perusakan Polsek Batin XXIV, tiga tersangka diantaranya adalah anak dibawah umur dan sisanya dewasa. Dari hasil pemeriksaan, semua tersangka mengakui telah melakukan perusakan dengan cara memecah kaca.
"Barang bukti telah kita amankan, selain itu, mereka melakukan perusakan didasari ketidakpuasan karena korban (Ketua DPC PPP Kabupaten Batanghari) meninggal dunia. Sehingga mereka ingin menghakimi sendiri secara spontan," ujar Santoso.
Penetapan 17 tersangka perusakan Polsek Batin XXIV berdasarkan Laporan Polisi No.LP/A-68/VI/2019/JBI/Res Batanghari, tanggal 22 Juni 2019 tentang dugaan terjadinya tindak pidana pengrusakan Mapolsek Batin XXIV.
"Semua tersangka tidak dilakukan penahanan dengan alasan tidak menghilangi barang bukti, tidak mengulangi dan tidak melarikan diri. Namun wajib lapor hingga proses tetap dilanjutkan. Pasal yang diterapkan 170 jo 160 sub 406 KUHP," katanya.
